Dillenburg Law Offices is a solo office consisting of myself and two assistants, my paralegal Jyl and office manager Vicki. I have been an attorney for 29 years and practiced with other firms before opening my own office in 1999. I only represent people, not corporations or governmental entities. I practice in the areas of accident injury and wrongful death, and insurance bad faith. My staff and I are here to help you. If you come to my office for a free consultation, I will meet personally with you. If you need me to travel to your home or the hospital, or rehabilitation facility to meet with you, I will do that anytime, including nights or weekends. Our job is to help you through this difficult time and then tell your story, what happened to you and how it has affected your life, so that we can recover the maximum amount for you.
A little about me: I grew up in Iowa. Graduated from Dowling High School in 1980 and the University of Iowa in 1985 where I received a degree in Geology. I came to Arizona and worked as a Hydrologist for the Arizona Department of Water Resources and Department of Environmental Quality. I was looking for greater challenges and opportunities and was accepted to Arizona State University College of Law where I received my Juris Doctor degree in 1991. My wife and I raised three sons in Chandler who are now out on their own.
I am admitted to practice before the Superior Court of Arizona, Arizona Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Arizona. I am also admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for Arizona and United States Supreme Court. I am a sustaining member of the Arizona Association for Justice (formerly known as the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association where I served on the Board of Directors). I consider myself a good trial lawyer and am very proud of my graduation from the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, Thunderhead Ranch, Wyoming. I have tried a number of my client's cases in front of juries, both on my own and as co-counsel, with verdicts totaling over 63 Million. I am often asked by other attorneys to associate with them in order to help try their cases. I also associate with other lawyers to help try some of our client's cases, recognizing that many times it is in the client’s best interest. This can help the client win, especially in areas like insurance bad faith where the insurance companies have overwhelming resources, or in very costly medical malpractice or product liability cases. The bottom line is we try hard to do what is best for our clients.
